Once upon a time, high in the sky, lived a little cloud named Nimbus. He wasn't like the other clouds; he dreamed of adventure.
The older clouds told him to stay put, to just float and rain when told, but Nimbus longed to see the world from the top.
One sunny morning, Nimbus decided he'd had enough. He puffed himself up, smaller and denser, and zipped downwards towards the top of the tallest mountain.
The wind buffeted him as he flew, showing him the sprawling landscape. From the top of the mountain, the air was thin and crisp, the view was amazing!
He saw tiny villages, shimmering lakes, and forests stretching as far as the eye could see.
Suddenly, he bumped into something hard and grey. It was the weather station, sitting atop the peak, collecting information on all the weather and cloud activities. 'Watch where you are going!', cried the weather station.
He stayed for a moment at the very top with the weather station. Nimbus heard wonderful stories about other clouds visiting mountain peaks, faraway seas, and busy cities. This boosted his wish to fly to as many places as he could.
Nimbus then floated away, changed and happier. From that day on, Nimbus was no ordinary cloud. His grand adventure gave him knowledge of the world, which he would be sure to share with the other clouds back in his cloud home.
